It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Laura J. Torres of Brazil, Indiana, born in Gary, Indiana, who passed away on December 18, 2023, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lowell Crist and Georgine Crist (Falk); her husband Rafael Torres (Allen Gurney); and her grandson Cayden Torres (Rachel Torres). She is survived by: her children, Lowell Torres, Julie Torres, Franco (Francisco), Laura Donovan, Andrew Torres (Amanda) and Edward Torres; and her grandchildren, William Risk, Gabe Torres, Nyxie Torres, Dominic Torres, Destiny Torres, Francisco Franco Jr., Joseph Donovan, Kylee Donovan, Daniel Gagnon, Hailey Torres, Kinsley Torres, Addisyn Torres and Aiden Torres.
