He was predeceased by: his parents, Georgia Whitner Buffington and Stanley Raymond Eldridge; his stepfather Carl Buffington; his brothers, Donald Eugene and Stanley Albert Eldridge; his siblings-in-law, Veleda, Phyllis Eldridge and Max Kidwell; his niece Anita Wilson; and his nephews, Stanley Richard Eldridge (Butch) and William Kidwell (Bill).
He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his daughter Lanna (Julio Santos); his siblings, Jack Eldridge, Joyce Kidwell and Stella Modesitt; and his nieces and nephews, Maxine Miller (Jeff), Beverly Turner (John), Mary Kidwell, Georgia Modesitt, Michael Eldridge (Becky), Robert Kidwell (Mary), Alva Eldridge (Kathy) and Gordon Eldridge (Cris).
