She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Kathryn and James Lalen; her daughter Rhonda Hayes; her siblings, Sue, Charlene, Chuck, Jimmy and Lester; and her husband Don Werk.
She is survived by: her children, Sondra Hayes-Thompson, John Hayes, Mary Trevino and Telina Werk; and her siblings, Debra Jones, Randy, Tony and Cliff "Chubby" Lalen. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
