She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugh Kivett and Martha Kivett; her daughter Patricia Ann Thomas; and her siblings, Jack Kivett, Jane Kivett Wagoner and Jerry Kivett.
She is survived by: her children, Penelope Lea Schad (Bill) and David Leon Smith (Lisa); her grandchildren, Greta Schad Binette (Joe), Andrea Thomas Lugar (Matt), Tisha Schad Glenn (Matt), Alicia Thomas Hardesty (Jake Newton), Shawn Thomas (Krista Vanatti), Kascha Smith Myers (Jacob) and Kaleb Smith; her great grandchildren, Hayden, Chloe Lugar, Cora, Ella Glenn, Bryson Hardesty, Violet Newton, Tylee Ryanne and Lincoln Thomas; her siblings, Nancy Jo Kivett Cassel, Hanna Kivett Fiege and Jay Kivett (Sally); and her sisters-in-law, Mary Kivett, Rose Smith and Donna Dolson Percher. She is also survived by 24 Nieces and Nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Lawson-Miller Chapel (1702 E National Ave, Brazil, IN 47834). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
