He was predeceased by: his parents, Bert Starr and Wilma Starr; and his siblings, Gene Starr, Joe Starr, Allen Starr, Gary Starr and Nelda Medley.
He is survived by: his wife Jane Starr (Guy); and his siblings, Bill Starr, Marion Starr, Beth Gilmer, Christine Rogness and Cathy Hargis. He is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
