She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Butts and Katherine Butts (Milner); her spouse Thomas Patrick Nugent; her brothers, John Butts and Fred Butts; and her grandson Thomas Michael Nugent.

She is survived by: her children, Michael Thomas Nugent (Rita), John Frederick Nugent (Nancy), Patricia Ann Nugent (Maurice) and Mary Nugent (Lee); her grandchildren, Leslie Blye, Stephan Nugent, Timothy Nugent and Sara Nugent; her great grandchildren, Miranda, Ty, Gabriel, Vivian, Lane, Colt, Tommie and Ryder; and her nephews, John Harlan (Cathy Dayhuff), Kris Ratcliff (Vicki Anderson-Cheval), Frederick Butts (Sue Ann Galenski), Jeff Butts, Thomas Nugent, Dennis Nugent (Donna Nugent) and Kevin Nugent.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the First Christian Church. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
