He is survived by: his wife Cathleen of Brazil; his children, Jaime Bales (Lynn) of Terre Haute, Jeremy Bales of Terre Haute and Jennifer Rodgers (Scott) of Brazil; and his grandchildren, Rebecca Bales, Hannah Bales, Chaylee Bales, Chase Bales, Bodey Bales, Brinley Bales, Tanner Kaelber (Tabitha), Austin Kaelber, Clayton Kaelber and Jessamyn Cameron (J. D.). He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
