She was predeceased by: her parents, Ethel Marie McDonald (Knott) and Charley McDonald; and her siblings, Roy "Ducky" McDonald, Charles "Chuck" McDonald, Jack A. McDonald, Dorothy Dressler and Mary Ann Matherly.
She is survived by: her husband Mark Wayne Parkins; and her children, Darla Scherb, Jerry Parkins (Carol), Julia Miller (Jim), Mark Parkins (Charlene) and Ruth Ebersohl (Kevin). She is also survived by grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren, and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Grace Chapel of Brazil, Indiana, or Maryland Community Church in Terre Haute, Indiana.
