He was predeceased by: his parents, Opal Wetnight (Bryan) and William Wetnight; and his sisters, Norma Batchelor and Barbara Wetnight Frease. He is survived by: his former wife Rosetta Frank; his granddaughters, Kristan Norris, Caitlynn Long and Nova Long; his close friend Eugene Krantz; and also, Jimmy Norris and Mark Norris (Shaunna Long). He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
