He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Catherine (O'Leary) and Carl Theodore Christensen; his wife Carol Ann Csizmar; his siblings, Eugene Christensen and Annamae Christensen McKane; and his son-in-law Deen Stultz.
He is survived by: his children, Lori Christensen Stultz, Lisa Christensen, Lynda Christensen and Edward Christensen Jr. (Becky Southwick); his grandchildren, Summer Hofmann (Seth Avina), Autumn Beatty (Neil Beatty), Jared Hofmann, Matthew Hofman, Brandon and Nathan Southwick; and his great grandchildren, Lane Lunsford, Joel Beatty and Reagan Avina.
