It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darlene Kay Combs of Brazil, Indiana, born in Indianapolis, Indiana, who passed away on September 8, 2023, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alex Garrett and Peggy Garrett (Berry); and her sister Dawn Renee Garrett. She is survived by: her husband Douglas Combs; her sons, Robert Jason Combs II (Lisa) of Bloomington and Daven Allen Combs (Selene) of Brownsburg, Indiana; her brothers, Delbert Dennis Berry (Phyllis) of Groveland, Dale Garrett and Dennis Garrett (Johnna) of Ohio; and her pet Gizzy. She is also survived by seven grandchildren.
