She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Rhodes and Joan Rhodes-Sherrill (Short); her siblings, Dusty, Dewane Rhodes, Shirley and Jackie Rhodes; and her close friend Nancy Cole.
She is survived by: her children, Stephen R. Slack, Jr. and Stacey M. Slack; her grandchildren, Spencer (Katie Slack), Henry Slack, Andrew Brock and Alexia Ray; her great grandchildren, Sophia Slack, Hudson and Houston Mcmains; her siblings, Susie Buck, Betty Cheek, Beverly Lawson, Charlotte Schneider and Peggy Brush; and her brother-in-law Mike McKinney. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other extended family.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Clay County Humane Society in her honor.
