She was predeceased by: her mother Norma Megenhardt (Kaiser); her husband William "Bill" French; her father Guy Megenhardt; her son-in-law Everett "Butch" Phillips; her friend Jack Reece; and her siblings, John Megenhardt and Lela Griffith.
She is survived by: her daughters, Rita Payton (Raymond Dale Payton), Cathy French, Phillips and Sally Wells; her grandchildren, Rene Hankins (Aaron), Greg Payton (Sylvia), Ashley Jeroy (Jason), Jana Phillips Bautista (Andres), William Wells, Joshua Wells, Evan Wells (Penny), Kristen Wells and Austin Wells; and her great grandchildren, Kaitlyn Nealon (Rian), Mark Hankins, Addy Jeroy, Rhett Jeroy, Maverick Jeroy, William Everett Bautista, Hayden Payton and Noah Alexander.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the French Funeral Home (421 E National Ave, Brazil, IN 47834). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a hospice of your choice.
