He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph James and Madge Hazel Thomas (Gross); his former wife Mary Griswold-Thomas; his son Mark Thomas M. D.; and his siblings, John, Henry, Noel and Mary Jane Landis.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Richard, Rebecca, Beverly, Barbara and Rhonda; his children, Amy Miller (Brad), Andrew Thomas and David Thomas (Lea); his grandchildren, Casey, Courtney, Hillary, Mitchell, Sarah, Allison, Stephen, Joseph, Abigail, Christopher, Elizabeth and Jessica; and his great grandchildren, Liam, Harper and Wren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Clay County YMCA, or to a local charity of choice.
