With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roel Alaniz Jr. of Boswell, Indiana, born in Toppenish, Washington, who passed away on October 23, 2021 at the age of 56. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his parents, Roel and Noelia Alaniz Sr. (Zarate); his wife Martha Contreras; his children, Jennifer Alaniz (Humberto Lopez) of Boswell, IN, Roel Alaniz III (Samantha) of Oxford, IN and Armando Alaniz of Boswell, IN; his siblings, Aida Valadez (Jose) of Mission, TX, Melissa Buckley (Christopher) of San Antonio, TX, Miguel Alaniz of Dallas, TX, Juan Pablo Alaniz (Maribel) of Yikima, WA and Ruben Alaniz (Sandra) of La Grulla, TX; and his grandchildren, Jeremy Guerra, Ryleigh Rangel, Hannah Lopez, Shayne Alaniz, Logan Alaniz and Kyran Alaniz. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
