He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Edward and Sylvia Alene Meece (Richardson); and his brothers, Mitchell, Bennie and Carl Meece.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Meece; his children, Missy Martin (Tavis) and Douglas Meece (Erin); his grandchildren, Michael Reitz (Cathy), Aidan Douglas Meece, Graeme Ryder Meece and Charlotte Ryan Meece; and his great grandchildren, Brittany Ann Meece and Caleb Joseph Meece. He is also survived by Sister, Gola May McDonalds, 7 Nieces & 3 Nephews.
