He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Rodewig and Martha Rodewig (Turner); his wife JoAnn Rodewig (Carroll); his children, Richard Rodewig, Jr. and Teresa Bennett; and his siblings, Agnes Niemeir, Frances Linne, Martha Manship, Katherine Kemp, Freida Campbell, Henry, Raymond, Kenneth, Sr. and Bill.
He is survived by: his sons, Robert Rodewig (Angie) and Tracy Rodewig; his children-in-law, Michael Bennett (Stacie) and Sherry Rodewig; and his brother Bob Rodewig. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
