James Koetter Obituary
In loving memory of James Koetter of Borden, Indiana, who departed this world on February 8, 2025 at the age of 88. James leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Julius Koetter and Elizabeth Koetter (Richart); his siblings, Mary Margaret, Ruth, Lucille, Dorothy, Janet, Richard and John; and his great grandchild Palmer.
He is survived by: his wife Carol; his sisters, Betty Sprigler, Patricia Williams (Ken) and Carol Calandrino; his daughters, Julie Coots (Chris), Kim Fancher (Scott) and Tammy Krininger (Kirk); and his grandchildren, Adam, Abby (Chase), Sean (Ema), Jami, Will, Kyle (Hayley), Kirstie (Ben), Kasey, Kole and Kameron.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church (8310 St John Rd, Floyds Knobs, IN 47119). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Jim's memory to St. John The Baptist Catholic Church in Starlight.
