He was predeceased by: his parents, Merle Trainor and Edna Trainor (Borden) of New Providence; and his siblings, Gene W. Trainor, Patricia "Pat" M. Woodward, Norman L. Trainor and Ed.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie June Callahan; his children, Amanda of Indianapolis and John of New Pekin, IN.; and his grandchildren, Stephen Barbera of Indianapolis, Chelsea and Marisa Trainor of Texas.
In lieu of flowers, he had asked that any monetized gifts be donated to the Friends of the Borden Community Park or Hosparus of Southern Indiana.
