With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carl Balentine of Borden, Indiana, born in Pekin, Indiana, who passed away on December 2, 2021 at the age of 92. He was predeceased by: his parents, Claudie Ray Balentine and Irene Balentine (Martin); and his former wife Darylene Balentine (Waggoner). He is survived by: his wife Gloria Lee Balentine (Gilstrap); his sons, Johnnie Balentine, Von Lee Balentine (Jenny Kay), Donnie Ray Balentine (Jody Ann) and Lonnie Gene Balentine; his stepsons, Martin H. Doan and Michael J. Doan (Nyoka Elizabeth); and his siblings, Floyd Balentine, Ernie Balentine, Randy Balentine, Jean Churchman and Mary Ann Lang. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and 7 great-great grandchildren.
