He was predeceased by: his grandfather George Allen McCoy; and his aunt Penny McElwee. He is survived by: his parents, Mark McCoy (Sandy) and Buffy Kiper (Collins); his wife Taylor McCoy; his children, Braxton, Hunter, Madilyn and Jocelyn McCoy; his in-law Todd Fancil (Lydia); his siblings, Matthew McCoy (Stacey), Andrew McCoy, Ryan McCoy (Autumn) and Jesse Pine (Kiya); his grandparents, Janice McCoy and Scott Winget (Pam); and his brothers, Jordan Smith (Ashlyn) and Kegan Gresham (Sarah). He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Visitation was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Koehler Funeral Home - Perigo Chapel (7022 Heim Rd, Chandler, IN 47610). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
