He was predeceased by: his parents, Hoover Barnett and Rosalyn Barnett of Folsomville, IN.; his wife Marlane Barnett; his brothers, Hoover Jr., Jack and Terry; and his siblings-in-law, Louis Smith and Delane Peerman.
He is survived by: his children, Shellie and Tobin; his daughter-in-law Michele Barnett of Newburgh; his daughter Kellie; his son-in-law Wayne Ziliak of Boonville; his grandchildren, Katelyn Barnett, Cole Barnett, Kyle Ziliak (Sarah), Kurt Ziliak, Jay Krantz and Whitney Krantz Luecke; his great grandchildren, Grayson Ziliak and Holden Ziliak; his sisters, Barbara and Bettye Smith; and his siblings-in-law, Linda Barnett, Jean Barnett of Speedway, IN and Col. Reese Austill of Yorktown, VA..
