He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Edward and Marian G. Mitchell (Woolsey); and his brother Dale Mitchell. He is survived by: his wife Connie Mitchell (Cox); his children, Lisa Ziliak, Robert Edward Mitchell (Angela) and Thomas Leon Mitchell Jr.; his grandchildren, Jessyka Hart (Kyle), Conner Mitchell and Arianna LeCroy (Patrick); and his siblings, Dennis Mitchell (Becky), Shannon Woolsey and Sarita Cox. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
