It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tammy Sue Gates of Boonville, Indiana, born in Evansville, Indiana, who passed away on May 12, 2023, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father James Elmo Smith; her mother-in-law Wanda Gates; her son Timothy Claud Ballow; and her siblings, Linda Smith and Roy Joe Smith.
She is survived by: her husband William Gates; her children, Tricia Dickerson of Chandler, Trenton Ballow of Chandler and Rayden Gates; her stepsons, Nicholas Gates (Jeriann) of Boonville and Andrew Gates (Nina) of Chandler; her grandchildren, Chadd Stayancho of Boonville, Lucas Marshall of Boonville, Harmony Slunder of Princeton, Briget and Breonna Dickerson of Newburgh; her sisters, Sharon Hoffman, Julia Hayes of Bremen, KY and Beverly Marshall of Boonville; and her sister-in-law Judith Woolright of Atlanta, GA. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
