She was predeceased by: her parents, William Morris and Hazel Morris (Stambush); and her sisters, Debbie May and Joyce Edwards. She is survived by: her husband Atlas Hinton; her son William Hinton; her granddaughter Rachel Hamilton; and her sister Linda McDougall-Dowdell.
