He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter J. Borman and Hulda C. Borman (Preston); his wife Mabel Borman; and his siblings, Jesse Borman, Ray Borman, Ralph Borman and Marjorie Borman.

He is survived by: his children, Vickie Brennen (Jack), Tim Borman, Mark Borman and Lisa Thornton (Jim); his grandchildren, Allison Thornton, Lindsey Borman and Amanda Thornton; and his sisters, Dorothy Barnett (Carl) and Sondra Sickbert (Albert).
