He is survived by: his wife Donna Hemmings Whitaker; his children, Dana Lyons (Jason) and Chad Whitaker; his grandchildren, David Lyons, Gage Lyons (Hailey), Destiny Lyons (Jonah), Dustin Lyons, Kayden Crowe and Liberty Lyons; his siblings, Albert Whitaker and Annette Meredeth (Elmer); his mother-in-law Joyce Heady; and also, Janet Griggs (Keith), Randy Hemmings (Karen), Tammy Brooks (Cletus), Timothy Heady (Rhonda), Ronald Heady (Jennifer) and Bama.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are preferred to the family for Ray's final expenses.
