He was predeceased by: his parents, Radie Cloise and Marian Louise Beard (Hemmer); his wife Betty Beard; and his siblings, Carl Beard, David Beard, Judith Beard and Dorothy Leslie.
He is survived by: his son Bruce Beard (Janice) of Hatfield, IN; his grandchildren, Jennifer Gunn, Tabitha Beard (John), Kyle Kendall (Sarah), Sarah Fox (James), Kelsey Erwin, Keith Erwin (Haylee), Kaylen Beard, Kendall Beard, Kaleb Beard and Ian Beard; his sister Martha Douglas; and his pet Lucy Lou. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.
