She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Rick Fortune; her sons, Tracy Fortune (Cori) and Tim Fortune (Marcia) of Boonville, IN; her grandchildren, Tristan Fortune (Blake), Molly Fortune, Sami Fortune and Moi Fortune; her mother Grace Bozarth of Central City, KY; her stepmother Mary West of Yankeetown, IN; her brothers, Tony West (Lillian), Gary West (Carol), Rickey West (Sherri) of Boonville, IN and David West (Lori) of Central City, KY; her grandson Charlie Cooper Fortune; her father Billy West; her brother Mark West; and her parents-in-law, Germaine Fortune and Glenn "Blackie" Fortune. She was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Shriners Children's Hospital or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
