He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lance and Anna Lance (Weyerbacher); his wife Virginia "Jane" Lance; his siblings, Leroy Lance, Levaun Luff, Victor Lance, Carl Lance, James Lance, Paul Lance, Joyce Bufkin and Richard Lance (Jane); and his in-laws, Owen and Barb Hill.
He is survived by: his sons, Matt Lance (Tiffany) of Georgetown, KY and Mark Lance (Julie) of Boonville, IN; his grandchildren, Casey Mckeehan (Jordan), Haylie Winkle and Markie Kathryn Lance; and his siblings-in-law, Becky Englert (Syl) and Steve Hill. He is also survived by nieces & nephews.
