He was predeceased by: his wife Nancy Lutz. He is survived by: his children, John P. Lutz, Elgin Lutz (Polly) and Hillary S. Paff; his grandchildren, Madeline Lutz, Isabelle Lueras, Gage Paff and Lydia Paff; his father-in-law Jim Kirby; and his sisters-in-law, Karen Kramer, Jan Kroeger (Mike), Jill Kirby (Allen) and Janie Schuble (Tim). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
