He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henry, Jr. and Alma June Simmons (Wallace); and his sisters, Lula Mae Fisher and Martha Elizabeth Reed. He is survived by: his siblings, Deloris Hall, Walter Alan Simmons, Terry Lee Simmons, Charles Kevin Simmons and Alma Gail Hall. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
