He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernie Overbey and Pauline Richardson; and his brother Doug Overbey. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Overbey of Boonville, IN; his children, James Overbey Jr. of Newburgh, IN, William Overbey (Dacia) of Marion, IN, Tony Overbey (Kimberly) of Boonville, IN, Stephanie Newman (Michael) of Evansville, IN and Kirk Overbey (Kimberly) of Van Buren, IN; and his grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Elaine, Shelby, Bryan, Levi, Garret, Kayli, Emma, Abby, Ava, Rachel and Daryen. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
