It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Margaret Steele (Boonville, Indiana), born in Elberfeld, Indiana, who passed away on January 26, 2020, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Gerichs and Helen Gerichs (Godeke); and her sisters, Esther Germann and Doris Damm Hudson. She is survived by: her husband Arnold Steele; her children, Susan Wilkie (Duane) and Gregory Steele (Robin); her grandchildren, Jason Wilkie and Sarah Smith (Matt); and her siblings, Theodore Gerichs Jr. (Lillian) of Darmstadt, IN, Glenn Gerichs (Barbara) of Arthur, IL and Edna Benton (Wayne) of Naples, FL.. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
