We are sad to announce that on November 8, 2024, at the age of 73, Dennis Darryl Labhart of Boonville, Indiana, born in Owensboro, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Dennis Darryl may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Labhart and Veneta Labhart (Wilson); and his son Shane "Buc" Labhart. He is survived by: his daughter Juliet Labhart (Dustin Ushman); his granddaughter Sawyer Grace Labhart; his significant other Maggie Tharp; and his siblings, Debi Riggle (Bob), Vicky Hasenour (Mike) and Dan Labhart (Vicki). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Koehler Funeral Home (304 E Main St, Boonville, IN 47601). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Legion Post 200 or the VFW Post 3418 in Dennis' honor.
