Della L. Lamar Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Della L. Lamar (Boonville, Indiana), who passed away on March 6, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Grover Helms and Delta Helms (Carter); her husband Max Lamar Sr.; and her siblings, Howard, Arvil, Louis, Lessie, Darwin Helms, Lucy Lampton and Elnora Helms.
She is survived by: her son Max Jr. (Diane) of Boonville, IN.; her grandchildren, Jason Lamar of Indianapolis, IN. and Amy Lang (Josh); and her great grandchildren, Levon (Lang) and Sunny Raye Lang of Jericho. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial gifts can be made to Mt. Gilead Baptist Church, Boonville.
