He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Ernest Verlin and Luella Ellis (Byers); his wife Linda Faye (Byers); his siblings, Roy Ellis and Joyce Steffey; and his grandson Devon Ellis.
He is survived by: his children, Cheryl Lynn Ellis, Cindi Rauth, Kenny Ellis and Doug Ellis; his grandchildren, Brandon Rauth (William), Jennifer Nicholson (Ryan), Daniel Ellis, Brittney Ellis, Cody Ellis, Caleb Ellis and Zach Ellis; and his siblings, Charlie Ellis (Carolyn), Sammy Ellis (Ruthie) and Richard Ellis (Debbie). He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Koehler Funeral Home (304 E Main St, Boonville, IN 47601). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
