It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles A. James Jr. of Boonville, Indiana, born in Heilman, Indiana, who passed away on January 10, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charley "Pop" A., Sr. and Claira James (Phillips); his wife Beatrice "Bea" James; his sons, Terry Alan James and Stephen Michael James (Alita); his son-in-law David Burgett; and his siblings-in-law, Yoonsik Lee and Joyce James.
He is survived by: his children, Rick (Jenifer), Curtis James, Yvonne Ash (Gary), Linda James-Suver (Jerry) and Sarah Burgett; his grandchildren, Jason, Nicholas, Michael, Blake, Dexter, Tara, Joan, Terry Kay, Teya, Amy, Stephen and Cynthia; and his siblings, Joyce Lee, Betty Rhoades (Franklin) and Ronald James. He is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great grandchildren.
