She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Lewis and Beatrice Lewis (Blair). She is survived by: her husband Jacky Carter; her son Reverend Rick L. Dimmett Sr (Susie); her grandsons, Rick Dimmett Jr (Stephanie), Joshua Dimmett (Jennifer) and Joseph Dimmett; her great grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Kaleb Dimmett; and her stepchildren, Joey, Angela and Donna. She is also survived by 5 step-grandchildren; and 2 step-great-grandchildren.
