Rebecca Jane Boyd Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rebecca Jane Boyd of Boggstown, Indiana, who passed away on December 23, 2024, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hester D. Corbin'Curly' and Alice R. Corbin (Matthews); her son David Boyd; and her siblings, Patricia Green, Mary Lou Sullivan, Rose Wheatley, Heidi Corbin and William Corbin.
She is survived by: her spouse Gene Boyd; her daughter Gina Fisher (Scott); and her grandchildren, Anthony Fisher, Nicholas Fisher and Lydia Fisher. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Murphy-Parks Funeral Service (703 S Harrison St, Shelbyville, IN 46176). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (125 E Broadway St, Shelbyville, IN 46176).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the David Boyd Memorial Scholarship, in care of the Blue River Foundation, 54 West Broadway, Suite 1, Shelbyville, IN 46176.
