With profound sadness, we say goodbye to William R. Heign of Bluffton, Indiana, born in Kendallville, Indiana, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though William may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Heign and Evelyn Heign (Smith); his stepmother Mildred Heign; his son Todd William Heign; and his sister Nancy Kohlhoff.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Pat" A. Schisler; his daughters, Stacie Randol (Brian) of Markle and Marcie Walburn of Markle; and his sister Beverly Stonebraker of Kendallville. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
