He is survived by: his daughters, Melanie Gerber of Bluffton, Melissa Netherland of Bluffton, Mona Craighead (Mike) of Bluffton, Margo Haiflich of Bluffton, Marsha Nicholas (Mark) of Bluffton and Maureen Reinhard (Roger) of Craigville; his grandchildren, Amy Gerber (Jarrod), Chad Smekens (Amy), Carla Graham, Daniel Graham, Beth Van Treeck (Wes), Jay Nicholas (Mallory), Krent Reinhard (Amber) and Kyle Reinhard (Katrina); his great grandchildren, Isaac, Caleb, Audrey Gerber, Reagan Bebout, Cailyn, Lauren Smekens, Charliee Graham, Emma Nicholas, Alaya, Blakely and Kinley Reinhard; his siblings, Vernon Gerber of Bluffton, Tillman Gerber (Betty) of Bluffton and Audrey Paxson of Muskegon, MI; and his sisters-in-law, Evelyn Gerber, Julia Gerber and Joyce Troxel.
