He is survived by: his parents, William R. Shoup and Judy E. Shoup (Thinnes); his brothers, Douglas Shoup (Lisa) of Bluffton, Scott Shoup of Bluffton and Troy Shoup (Kate) of New Haven, IN.; and his nephews, Tristan Shoup (Lexie) and Carter Shoup.

Memorials in Steve's memory can be made to Six Mile Church in Bluffton.
