He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Bumgarner and Marie Bumgarner (Dunn); his wife Marylou Johnson; his brother Leo Bumgarner; his daughter-in-law Karen Bumgarner; his granddaughter Kate Bumgarner; and his stepfather Paul Line.
He is survived by: his sons, Steve Bumgarner (Jill) of Fort Wayne, Michael Bumgarner (Sharlene) of Edwardsburg, MI and Keith Bumgarner of Grant, MI; his sister Shirley Shoemaker; his grandchildren, Carri Haller (Ron), Kelli Bumgarner, Jordan Bumgarner (Jennifer) and Haley Bumgarner; and his great grandchildren, Kaylee, Brayden, Adelynn Haller, Eve, Sadie and Josephine Bumgarner.
