Though Rae Ann may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her brother David Schocke. She is survived by: her husband Charles "Charlie" A. Hayden; her daughter Tomra "Tomi" Cardin of Fort Wayne; her granddaughter Markia "KiKi" Cardin of Fort Wayne; and her siblings, Lynn Schocke of Anderson, Jan Rindler (David) of Berne, Bobbi Moser (Dallas) of Bluffton and Bruce Schocke (Karen) of Zanesville.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Goodwin-Cale & Harnish Memorial Chapel (3220 East State Road 124, Bluffton, IN 46714). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of floral tributes and gifts, the family requests that memorial contributions be given to the Redemption House Ministry of Fort Wayne, an organization started by her daughter that helps women find recovery, stability and hope.
