She was predeceased by: her parents, Jay E. Barton and Ada D. Barton (Jones); and her brother Lenley "Bud" Barton. She is survived by: her children, John West (Becky) of Bluffton and Vicky Carvalho (Chris) of Pleasant View, TN; and her sister Nancy Barton of Bluffton. She is also survived by four grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
