He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Zook and Polly Zook (Myers); his wife Betty; his children, Ruth Ann Bailey and Michael W. Zook; and his siblings, Richard Zook, Myrval Zook, Elden Zook, Larry Zook and Rosalin McKinnley.

He is survived by: his sons, Kenneth Zook of California and Ron (Sherri); and his sister Eva Bowman of Craigville. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Lemler Funeral Home (308 W Washington St, Bluffton, IN 46714). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
