She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer D. Smeltzer and Betty Jane Smeltzer (August); and her sister Carolyn Smeltzer. She is survived by: her husband Michael W. McGahey; and her siblings, Iris August Stultz of Bluffton, Jane Bennett of Bluffton, Gary Smeltzer of Bluffton and David Smeltzer of Three Oaks. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
