He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald C. Myers and Phyllis Myers (Collier); his sister Lynda Helms; and his niece Lori Dobson. He is survived by: his children, Michelle Pena (Richard) of New Haven, Deborah S. Bordner of Fort Wayne and Christopher Myers (Leona) of Bluffton; his close friend Sally Day of Bluffton; his siblings, Stacey Ball (Greg) of Indianapolis, Robin Wieczorek (Mark) of Ohio and Charles Wemhoff (Julie) of Indianapolis; and his nephews, Kent Beer (Tracy) of Bluffton, Kurt Beer (Angie) of Bluffton and Kevin Beer of Texas. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, and numerous cousins.
Instead of sending flowers and gifts, the family prefers memorials be made in Bub's memory to the Wounded Warrier Foundation, Elks Lodge #796 Scholarship Fund or to the charity of the donor's choice.
