She was predeceased by: her husband Gregory A. May; and her brother Patrick A. Ginger. She is survived by: her parents, Melvin Ginger and Lynne Ginger (Smith); her children, BreAnna Ridge and Taylor Ridge of Bluffton; her brothers, John Ginger (Robin) of Bluffton and Vernon Ginger of Bluffton; and her granddaughter Aria Ridge of Bluffton.
